The problem runs much deeper than corrupt governments or failed schooling... Having lived there for a few years and raised biculturally almost from birth, I can only conclude there is something intrinsically wrong about the anglosaxon world and its mentality. Societies (mainly the British and American) historically built on the idea of ¨a greater good¨, a strive for perfection and ¨goodness¨ can only lead to frustration, unhappiness, class division, violence and rebelion. Schooling is not the problem, millions of uneducated people live peacefully all over the world. Those kids don´t give a shit about global politics and economy, they probably make more money from drugs than any average worker. They´re just angry that they´re pushed to be something they´re not on a daily basis just because it´s "the way it should be". I have met very few anglosaxons who weren´t either depressed or in some way mental (sometimes in a very funny way,I must say), but nonetheless unhappy overall. Aaaaanyway.... I don´t condone what´s happening in London, but what the fuck, you had it coming..
